New Delhi, Feb 18 (ANI): Amidst uproar and continues dim in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday after Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde requested the Speaker to take up the Telangana bill, the house got adjourned till 3:00 PM. Earlier, the house was adjourned till 12:45 PM, and after getting resumed got adjourned again over the protest. Union Minister Pallam Raju has said that the government must not get the Telangana Bill passed in the din. He has also said that the demands of Seemandhra leaders must be met. Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Law Minister EP Reddy confirmed that state's Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will submit his resignation over the issue. Feb 18, 2014

Transparency International rejects AAP's claim on 'reduction in corruption' survey

New Delhi, Feb 18 (ANI): Global corruption watchdog Transparency International (TI) Executive Director Ashutosh Kumar Mishra on Tuesday rejected AAP's claim that corruption has come down in Delhi based on an 'unpublished report'. Former chief minister of national capital Arvind Kejriwal had claimed during a CII meet that he had come to know that Transparency International is set to release a report which says that corruption is down in the Delhi Jal Board. Mishra said that they have neither done any such survey, nor are they planning for the same. He also said that it is impractical as any such survey takes months.
