FIR filed against Alka Lamba for sharing Lucknow rape victim's picture online

Lucknow, July 20 (ANI): An FIR has been filed against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Alka Lamba for allegedly sharing the picture of the Lucknow rape victim, who was brutally raped and stabbed to death, on a social networking site. Complainant Rakesh Singh said that this should be included in cyber crime and demanded arrest of Lamba. The victim was brutally raped and her body was found in Mohanlalganj area, barely 8 km from Jabrauli village where former US President Bill Clinton had paid a visit.

Salman Khan unveils mobile game on his upcoming movie 'Kick'

Mumbai, July 20 (ANI): Bollywood actor Salman Khan along with cast and crew of his upcoming Bollywood film, 'Kick', unveiled a mobile game while promoting the movie in entertainment capital, Mumbai. The mobile game is on the lines of the upcoming romantic-thriller movie, Kick, starring Khan and actress Jacqueline Fernandez. Managing Director of Disney India, Siddharth Roy Kapur, launched the mobile game, in which people would get a chance to play action hero Khan on their phones and tablets. Bangladeshi caps export boost ahead of Eid

Dhaka, July 20 (ANI): Demand for Bangladeshi caps, exported to around 40 countries across the globe, spurred during the holy month of Ramadan and workers in the factories have been working extra hours to meet the production deadlines of export orders ahead of Eid. Caps with various eye-catching designs, made in Dhaka, are available at reasonable prices across the country. White, multicolored, crocheted and embroidered skull caps are popular among Muslims across the globe. Bangladeshi caps are exported to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Pakistan, India, South Africa and other Middle Eastern countries after meeting the domestic demand. However, export of caps has fallen as China has overtaken the international market. Alif Cap Industry, one of the leading cap makers of Bangladesh, is doing brisk business as it has exported some 300,000 pieces of caps in last one month.

Lucknow murder case: Police arrests key accused, rules out gangrape

Lucknow, July 20 (ANI): UP Police has identified and arrested key accused in the murder and rape of a 32 year-old woman in Mohanlalganj area of Lucknow. Addressing a news conference in Lucknow, ADG Lucknow Sutapa Sanyal revealed the horrific details of events. Police has recovered important evidence including the helmet of the accused. The police has ruled out gangrape and said that there was no sexual intercourse. The police said that she suffered multiple injuries which were the cause of her death. Both the key accused and the victim were employed in Sanjay Gandhi Post-graduate Medical Institute (SGPGI) and knew each other.

Aam Aadmi Sena protests outside Kejriwal's residence

New Delhi, July 20 (ANI): The Aam Aadmi Sena on Sunday held a protest outside the residence of Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal. The protesters alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party was unable to run the government so now they are playing divisive politics. The Congress party had also attacked the Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday for practicing low level politics and condemned the AAP for putting up posters in Jamia Nagar. CBI postpones exhumation of bodies of Badaun gangrape victims

Budaun, July 20 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation has postponed the exhumation of the bodies of two sisters who were gangraped and murdered in the Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh. The graves of the two victims have been submerged 11 feet down in Ganga River and the CBI had to postpone it once again after failing to exhume the bodies on Saturday. The rising level of Ganga is playing a major hindrance in the agency's efforts to dig out the bodies. The CBI had decided to conduct fresh autopsies on the bodies after the post mortem report inconclusively suggested rape. The agency has reportedly taken the consent of the authorities to exhume the bodies.

Protesters clash with security forces in Kashmir over teenager's killing

Kulgam, July 20 (ANI): Clashes erupted between protesters and armed forces as large numbers of Kashmiri youths took to street against the alleged killing of a teenager by security forces during anti Israel protest. Kashmiris had assembled in large numbers to protest the killing of 15-year-old Suhail Ahmad Mir. Youths pelted stones on forces deployed in the area. Forces responded with baton charge and tear gas shells in which three youths were wounded.
