Bhopal, April 06 (ANI): Students and professionals in large numbers participated in marathon race, 'Run for the Indian economy' in Bhopal on Sunday for a resurgent India and to show concern for country's economy. The event was organised by Institute of Professional Education and Research (IPER), Bhopal. One of the organisers of the marathon, Gurleen Singh Khalsa, said this is a gesture to show that people are aware and concerned and will not rest till economy gets its due. BSF seizes drugs worth billions near Pakistan border

Ferozpur, April 06 (ANI): Border Security Force (BSF) in Ferozpur district of Punjab seized over 35 kilograms of heroin from near the Pakistan border, after a face-off with the smugglers in the wee hours of Sunday. After hearing noises, the security officials launched a search operation and later both the sides fired shots. The two smugglers, however, managed to escape. Quoting it as one of the biggest achievements at the border, the Inspector General of BSF, AK Tomar, said that they had successfully failed the attempt of Pakistani smugglers.
