10 women drown as boat capsizes in Bisalpur dam

Tonk, Mar 21 (ANI): As many as 10 women on Friday drowned when the boat they were in capsized in Bisalpur Dam in Tonk district. Bodies of ten women, were fished out while six others, some of whom swam back to safety, were stated to be out of danger and sent back home. Mar 21, 2014

Nainital, March 21 (ANI): A student of class 12 in hill town of Nainital in India's northern Uttarakhand province,Rajesh Adhikari, has created a shoe that can now even charge a mobile phone. This means that no matter where you are, wearing these shoes gives one a reason to get up and walk. He said that the idea of making such a waterproof charger struck when it snowed heavily in Nainital and many people, including him, had to suffer due to power shutdown in the city. This turned out to be an inspiration for him which made him make a powerhouse out of a shoe and make full use of the energy generated out of the footwear when a person walks. Four get life sentence in Shakti Mills gangrape

Mumbai, Mar 21 (ANI): The Shakti Mill gangrape case ended in victory for the telephone operator while the hearing for the photojournalist's case has been adjourned till March 24. All the four convicts who were accused of raping an 18-year old telephone operator in July have been sentenced to life imprisonment. A sessions court in Mumbai had on Thursday convicted all the four accused in the Shakti Mill photojournalist gangrape case of August 22, 2013 and also the four accused in another gangrape case of a telephone operator.
