India, Bangladesh demarcate disputed border

Agartala, Feb 21 (ANI): India, Bangladesh officials demarcated the disputed border in Tripura after four days of meticulous work and expressed satisfaction. The teams from both the countries visited the bordering areas of Kashba, Kaiyardepha and Akhaura and located 250 new subsidiary border pillars, which have been newly constructed. The demarcation would help guards in manning the border, expedite various construction activities such as fencing and lighting and making of water pump houses. Government holds tripartite talks with United Naga Council in Manipur

Manipur, Feb 21 (ANI): The 7th round of tripartite talks between the United Naga Council, Central Government and Manipur Government over the demand for an alternative arrangement for the Nagas of Manipur was held recently at Senapati district headquarters.
