TRS Chief meets Rahul Gandhi, fuels speculation about possible alliance

New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Chief Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, who spearheaded the Telangana movement, met Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Monday amidst speculations of a merger or alliance between the TRS and Congress ahead of general elections. Meanwhile, Congress leaders from the region also met Sonia Gandhi at her residence putting forth their demands. No death penalty for Italian marines, Centre drops anti-piracy charges
