New Delhi, Aug 30 (ANI): Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday said that the mood of the country changed when the election results were announced. Talking to mediapersons in New Delhi, Jaitley said that containing inflation, restarting growth and investment cycles and keeping fiscal deficit at acceptable level were priorities for the new government. Government is taking steps to improve ease of doing business, opening up significant sectors, expedite decision-making while maintaining social sector expenditure in most areas. Kapurthala, Aug 30 (ANI): The family of two Indian brothers, who are among the many workers held in Kuwait, pleaded the government to secure their release and safe return to the country. Brothers Manjit Singh and Daljit Singh hail from Punjab and were arrested with many Punjabi workers in the Arab country on Friday. Kuwaiti officials arrested more than a dozen Indian workers for allegedly murdering two Egyptian nationals. Family members of the two brothers said they had received a call from Manjit, telling them about the bad circumstances they were facing. Manjit’s wife, Jagdish Kaur also urged the government to do everything they can to bring the two back.
