Shinde condemns Chattisgarh Naxal attack

New Delhi, Mar 11 (ANI): Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Tuesday condemned the attack on the CRPF and the police of Chhattisgarh, hours after the home-grown rebels carried out a major attack in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, killing at least 15 security personnel and one civilian. 20 jawans feared dead in Chhattisgarh Naxal attack

Raipur, Mar 11 (ANI): At least 20 jawans are feared dead and several others have been injured in an encounter between the Naxals and security forces in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh today. According to reports, the encounter went on for over three hours. The Naxals attacked a joint team of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the state police around 10:30 am in the thickly forested Tongpal area, about 500 km south of Raipur. Mar 11, 2014

Tongpal, March 11 (ANI): At least 20 jawans are feared killed and several others have been injured in an encounter that went on for over three hours between the Naxals and security forces in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. The attack reportedly began around 10:30 am in the Tongpal area, about 500 km south of Raipur. Following the attack, an encounter broke out between the CRPF-police personnel and Maoists.
