Allahabad, March 24 (ANI): Samajwadi Party in Allahabad twisted the controversial BJP slogan ‘Har Har Modi’ to ‘Tharr Tharr Modi, Darr Darr Modi’, slamming the party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. The agitated SP workers also painted Modi posters black in protest against replacing Lord Shiva’s name with BJP’s PM candidate. Reacting on the same, Congress leader Shobha Oza welcomed the slogan by the SP workers. Pakistan, March 24 (ANI): Pakistanis celebrated Pakistan day to mark the passage of the historic Lahore Resolution that led to the creation of a separate homeland for the South Asian Muslims in 1947. The Lahore Resolution, also known as Pakistan Resolution, was approved on March 23, 1940 in a meeting chaired by Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. The day began with 31 gun-salute in the capital city Islamabad, and 21-gun salutes in all the four provincial capitals. Villagers kill 3 in witch-hunting in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar, March 24 (ANI): In yet another case of suspected witch hunting in Kokrajhar district of Assam, villagers killed three persons of a family and dumped their bodies at Borjhora village in Monglajhora area. The deceased have been identified as Rajendra Brahma (70), his wife Bangali Brahma (61) and unmarried daughter. Police said that 11 suspects were arrested in connection of the case.
