TMC workers attack EC officials in Malda, party says it respects EC

Kolkata, April 11 (ANI): A group of Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers on Thursday attacked Election Commission officials in the Manikchak area of Malda Dakshin constituency of the state. The attack reportedly occurred when the officials tried to stop a two-wheeler rally of the party as such rallies have been banned by the poll panel. They also allegedly damaged a video camera when the officials were trying to take pictures of the rally.
