New Delhi, June 20 (ANI): The ruling BJP government on Friday justified the advisory issued by Ministry of Home Affairs about making Hindi the official language for communication. After much uproar was raised by the States, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi justified the MHA's advisory saying that making Hindi as the official language does not discourage or disrespect other regional languages. Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah said that the official language in his state is Urdu and English and if anyone wants to use Hindi will be allowed but no one will be forced to do so. CPI (M) leader Brinda Karat said that the decision by the new government is wrong about giving official language in Hindi language only. Washington , June 20(ANI): U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry welcomed New Zealand's Prime Minister John Key to the State Department at a meeting where Iraq topped their agenda. Kerry then addressed the news that President Barack Obama is sending him to the Middle East to step up diplomatic efforts with allies and partners to address the growing insurgency in Iraq. The Obama administration will also send as many as 300 military advisers to Iraq to help train local security forces. New Delhi, June 20(ANI): US President Barack Obama has decided to send 300 additional U.S. Special Operations troops to assist in Iraq's fight against advancing ISIS militants. Obama said that he is sending up to 300 US military advisers to Iraq, but made clear that he will continue to hold back more substantive support till its deemed necessary. He further said that the troops are being deployed to better assess the situation on the ground, where forces of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria have moved ever nearer to Baghdad. He added that the US will be prepared to take "targeted and precise military action" if and when the situation on the ground requires it. Bijapur, June 20(ANI): : A four-year-old girl, who fell in a 300-feet borewell in Dyaberi village near Nagatana, Bijapur, died on Thursday. Akshata's lifeless body was brought to the surface by rescuers almost 50 hours after the child's ordeal started. The incident, which sparked a massive rescue mission, happened while Akshata was walking home on Tuesday with her father, who is a farm labourer. Bijapur district incharge minister M.B. Patil refused to give details about the girl’s death, but said that case have been filed against the officials. New Delhi, June 20(ANI): Union Public Service Commission aspirants staged a protest on Friday outside the residence of Home Minister Rajnath Singh, demanding a four-year age relaxation in the examinations of these services. The protesters also demanded the removal of CSATs.
Recently, the UPSC has effected major changes in norms of civil services examination and has given two more attempts for the aspirants. It has also given a relative age relaxations from this year onwards.

India has asked the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to tighten controls on moving funds from abroad into Greenpeace's accounts. The government has asked the RBI to obtain its permission before releasing funding from Netherlands-based Greenpeace International and the US-based Climate Works Foundation, both contributors to Greenpeace India. Chennai, June 20 (ANI): An Indian Muslim outfit met and submitted a memorandum to Sri Lankan deputy high commissioner in Chennai, demanding cessation of attacks on Muslims in the island nation. Last week, at least three people were killed and around 150 were injured during the riots between Buddhists and Muslims in one of the worst communal violence in Sri Lanka. The riots followed a protest march by the hard-line Buddhist group, Bodu Bala Sena, which is partially led by monks.
