Two dead, 11 injured in building collapse in Sadar Bazar

New Delhi, June 01 (ANI): At least two people were killed and 11 injured when a three-storey under-construction building collapsed in Delhi's Sadar Bazar area on Sunday. Police and fire officials are still carrying out rescue operations at the site, and more people are feared trapped in the debris. Indian premiere of documentary 'The world before her'

Mumbai, June 1 (ANI): Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap along with Women in Film and Television (WIFT) India hosted the premiere of the documentary film "The world before her" directed by India-born Canadian filmmaker Nisha Pahuja in the showbiz capital Mumbai. Former President poised to celebrate 84th birth anniversary of heritage train

Pune, June 01 (ANI): Former Indian President Pratibha Patil poised to celebrate 84th birth anniversary of the heritage train Deccan Queen or Deccan Queen Express which was the pride of the British, as it connected two major cities of Mumbai and Pune in Maharashtra. To mark the occasion train model made in cake was cut by Patil and was distributed among the attendees. Locally known as "Dakhan ki Rani", it started its first journey as a deluxe train on June 01, 1930. The frames of the coach were manufactured in England but the coach itself was manufactured in a Mumbai's Matunga workshop, which still exists today and caters largely to the maintenance of the local trains.
