Shashi Tharoor praises Narendra Modi, BJP reacts

New Delhi, June 05 (ANI): In high praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has said that Modi has remodelled himself from a hate figure to an avatar of modernity and progress. He said that it would be “churlish” of the Congress to ignore his inclusive and accommodative outreach. He also added that the development-centric approach of PM Narendra Modi suggested that he had evolved into "Modi 2.0”. Modi to meet Obama in September, positive reactions flow

New Delhi, June 05 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accepted the invitation of the US President Barack Obama and will meet him in September. This has invited positive reactions from various political and non political organizations. Former Indian Ambassador to US Naresh Chandra stated that the meeting of Indian PM with US President will strengthen relations between both countries. Gadkari given additional charge of portfolios held by Gopinath Munde

New Delhi, June 04 (ANI): The President of India, as advised by the Prime Minister, has directed that Union Road Transport, Highways and Shipping minister Nitin Gadkari has been entrusted with additional charge of the ministries of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Drinking Water and Sanitation. Gadkari has been asked to handle portfolios held by Gopinath Munde who had tragically died due to a car crash.
