Will not distinguish between people: SIT on Black Money

Ahmedabad, Nov 01 (ANI): The Chief of SIT on Black Money Justice (Retd) MB Shah said on Saturday that the Special Investigation Team will not distinguish between rich and poor people in terms of investigation on black money. Shah said that the report shall be submitted to Supreme Court in December but that will not finish probe as it will be a time consuming process. Further Shah said that the names of those found guilty shall be revealed publicly and of those not found guilty shall be kept concealed. Nov 1, 2014

Kerala CM Oommen Chandy defends state Finance Minister KM Mani over bribery charges

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 01 (ANI): Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Saturday has strongly denied allegations levelled by bar owners against the State Finance Minister KM Mani over reopening closed bars and ruled out any probe into the matter. Chief of the Hotels and Bar Association, Biju Ramesh has accused Mani of seeking a bribe of rupees 50 million from him, of which an amount of rupees10 million has already been given. No government probe, reportedly, has been ordered into the matter as yet. Thrissur, Nov 01 (ANI): Bakers in Kerala have created a record by making the longest eggless cake to celebrate the 131st anniversary of cake baking in India. The 600-feet long cake has been recorded by the officials of Limca Book of Records and certified as the "Longest ever made eggless cake in India". The attempt was undertaken by Kerala-based bakery house 'Cochin Bakery', which is known to be one of the oldest companies established in the state. A team of 26 chefs took more than 20 hours to bake and decorate the record cake. The idea was conceived by bakery owner, MP Ramesh, who has been making such cakes during the annual meet of Bake Expo. Hundreds of visitors and enthusiasts gathered in Thrissur to catch a glimpse of the mammoth wonder. To keep the cake and make it easy for the visitors, a same length tent was also built. Nov 1, 2014
