Congress supporters stage sit-in over Vyapam scam in Bhopal

Bhopal, June 26 (ANI): Congress supporters staged a sit-in protest accusing leaders of the ruling BJP being involved in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board or Vyapam scam. Congress workers demanded a probe to be conducted by the CBI on the scam. Meanwhile, student body, National Student's Union of India also protested against the scam. Congress leader Satyadev Katare also accused Madhya Pradesh Chief Shivraj Singh Chouhan of being involved in the employment scam. He showed documents of the Public Service Commission Examinations to prove that Chouhan's niece was appointed as Deputy Collector by illegal means and also said that the former had changed rules to destroy evidence of irregularities. Holy men in Assam take a break from spiritual odyssey to enjoy FIFA

Guwahati, June 26 (ANI): As the world's top soccer teams vie for the FIFA World Cup in Brazil, football fever swept through the alleys of a revered shrine in India's northeast where holy men took a break from their spiritual odyssey to indulge in some football banter. Holy men came down from their Himalayan hideouts and hermits across the country for the annual Tantric fertility festival at the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati city of Assam. The holy men, in town to perform sacred rituals during the four -day festival, were seen relaxing from the rigors of their spiritual life by playing out a game of soccer on the footsteps of the shrine with hundreds of onlookers cheering them on. One of the holy men, Bablu Mukherjee, who came to perform rituals at the temple, said they are excited to watch the World Cup on television. Border Guard Bangladesh top official denies any militant camp inside country

He claims he was just eight-year-old when he caught the first snake, thinking it to be a fish. Ever since he has been catching snakes as the fear-factor began to fade. He claims to have caught over 4000 snakes so far. The snake lover said he recently got a call regarding a python being spotted in a nearby house and rushed to the spot to catch it but couldn't.
