New Delhi, Nov 3 (ANI): The BJP on Monday (November 03) said that chief of Aam Aadmi Party Arvind Kejriwal should not be taken seriously over his tweet on recent communal violence in Delhi. Referring to recent communal tensions in New Delhi's Trilokpuri area, Kejriwal on Monday blamed the BJP of inciting riots in Delhi. The Congress too blamed the ruling BJP of invoking communal tension with the help of its party cadres and parent body Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to polarise votes. Forest rangers rescue Lion from a village well in Gujarat

Junagadh, Nov 3 (ANI): Struggling for almost an hour, forest rangers on Monday (November 03) rescued a Lion that was trapped in an open village well in Gujarat. The Lion fell into the well after it had strayed into Amarpur village in Junagadh district of Gujarat, in search of food. Forest rangers said the Lion will be kept under observation for a day and will be released in the wild life sanctuary. Instances of wild animals like Lions, leopards and tigers straying into residential areas are getting common in many parts of the country now. Depletion of habitat has also threatened the wild animals, forcing them to stray into human settlements - attacking people, poultry birds and livestock cattle - and often getting killed in return. Gumla, Nov 03 (ANI): The state police along with Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has arrested a hardcore Maoist and recovered cash along with arms and ammunition in Jharkhand's Gumla district. The Gumla police had received information and immediately sent a team to hunt the dreaded Maoist. The Maoist has been identified as Sushil Ganju and Rs 18,000 were found in his pocket. Superintendent of Police (SP), Bhimsen Tuti, said that this operation was a big success for them as he had carried out many violent Maoist activities in the area. He further said that some sensitive documents and diaries having information about their organization and their activities, is also recovered. Telangana signs MoU on supply of 1,000 MW power with Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Nov 03 (ANI): Wishing to provide round-the-clock power supply in his state, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with his Chhattisgarh counterpart Raman Singh on Monday on supply of 1,000 MW of thermal power generated there on long-term basis. Rao was accompanied by state Finance Minister E Rajender, Principal Secretary S Narsing Rao and a few other officials. Telangana Chief Minister was welcomed by Chhattisgarh Transport Minister Rajesh Munat on his arrival in Raipur. The MoU between the two Chief Ministers will facilitate signing of a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) between Chhattisgarh Power Trading Corporation and TSGenco for a period of 7 or 12 years at a price to be fixed by the Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission (TSERC). Latehar, Nov 03 (ANI): RJD candidate urged people to vote during state polls in Jharkhand as Maoists have called for boycott of elections. The five-phased state assembly polls in Jharkhand will begin from November 25 and end on December 20. The results would be announced on December 23. In Manika constituency of Jharkhand's Latehar district, rebels from Communist Party of India (Maoist) painted long declarations of boycotting state polls on walls of schools and other buildings in the marketplace. They appealed the voters not to vote and called for total boycott. This has left political parties and their candidates in a quandary, as they too appealed to the public to support them. The rebels have operated for decades across a wide swath of central and eastern India, and grew in strength during recent times in areas where poor, tribal villagers came into conflict with mining companies seeking resources for industrialization.
