Health Minister prepares to fight mosquito-borne diseases poising threat

New Delhi, July 02 (ANI): Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has said that he is preparing to fight mosquito-borne diseases posing a continual threat to the nation's health. Health officials from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana including the official of concerned agencies attended the conference to work out a plan on devising preventive measures. BJP leader's remark on banning women wearing bikini in Goa invites sharp criticism

Panaji, July 02 (ANI): Senior BJP leader Sudin Dhavalikar who said women wearing bikini and mini-skirts should be banned from beaches has invited critical reactions. Hitting out at Dhavalikar, Tourism minister of Goa Dilip Parulekar on Wednesday said women are responsible enough to know what to wear and when to wear. Dutch queen lauds Indian central bank's vision for financial inclusion

Sunanda Pushkar death case: Delhi Police Commissioner assures full investigation

New Delhi, July 02 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi on Wednesday assured full investigation of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of Congress leader, Shashi Tharoor's wife, Sunanda Pushkar. The statement was made in wake of the Head of the forensic department of India's specialty hospital, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Dr. Gupta revealing that he was compelled to submit a fabricated report in the Sunanda death case. Singapore Foreign Minister eyes stronger relationship with India
