UPSC Aspirants continue protest demanding removal of CSATs as board issues admit cards

New Delhi, July 25 (ANI): Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) candidates continued their protest demanding scrapping the CSAT in the examination pattern, which is obstructing the Hindi medium students from getting selected. Protesting aspirants said that the agitation will continue and demanded the removal of CSATs. The aspirant also accused the Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh for not keeping up with his promise. The students argued that the questions asked in language comprehension skills are asked in English and no Hindi translations are provided. India and Pak Foreign Secretaries to meet on August 25 to revive dialogue

Islamabad, July 25 (ANI): The foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan will meet on August 25 to re-launch the stalled dialogue process between the two countries. Addressing a media briefing in Islamabad, Pakistan Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry, said that in keeping with the vision of the two prime ministers to improve and establish good neighbourly relations, both sides had agreed on the meeting date during a telephonic conversation between the foreign secretaries of the two countries. The development is being seen as a major breakthrough in the backdrop of hostilities that recently cropped up following skirmishes on the Line of Control. Bangalore, July 25 (ANI): Officials confirmed that classes in Bangalore_s Vibgyor High School that was shut down after the rape of a six-year-old girl student within the premises, will commence by next Monday. Bangalore south Block Education Officer, Ramesh, announced the schedule for the commencement of classes. The school authorities reaffirmed strict measures for students_ safety after the sexual assault on the campus. The child, a student of first grade at the school, is now under treatment in a hospital. Wipro posts fiscal Q1 profit up 29.6 percent

Bangalore, July 25 (ANI): India_s third-biggest IT services exporter, Wipro Limited posted fiscal first-quarter profit up 29.6 percent and forecast a surge in revenue on the back of stronger spending on outsourcing by overseas clients. IT services revenue in Wipro_s fiscal first quarter that ended on June 30 rose 1.2 percent from the previous quarter to $1.7 billion, as it added 35 new clients. Consolidated net profit for the quarter grew 29.6 percent from a year earlier to 21.03 billion rupees, slightly below consensus estimates of 21.24 billion rupees. Mumbai doctors remove 232 teeth from teen_s mouth

Mumbai, July 25 (ANI): Doctors at a Mumbai hospital have removed an astonishing 232 teeth from the mouth of a 17-year-old Indian boy. Hailing from a small village with lack of good healthcare facilities, Ashique Gavai_s family decided to visit a good hospital in the city when their son complained of swelling and pain in his right side of the mouth. The problem of swelling had been persistent for over a year. The doctors admitted Gavai for a surgery on July 22 and during the six-hour-long operation, they were shocked to see innumerous mustard seed-to-rock-sized teeth bulging out of a cyst- like formation. They even discovered a rock-like formation in the affected tooth. The case, which was dubbed as benign tumour of the tooth by doctors, might just lead the teenager to the pathway of making a record.
