Kanpur, Sep 03 (ANI): A glider plunged into a house on Wednesday (September 03) in Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh state, the pilot sustained injuries. A trainee woman pilot got injured after she lost control during the flight. Area Councilor, Irshad Alam said that injured pilot has been admitted in the hospital. Two college students shot dead in UP after dispute over ragging

Hathras, Sep 03 (ANI): A dispute between two groups over ragging left two college students dead in Hathras city of Uttar Pradesh. The Deputy Inspector General of police, Satyendra Veer Singh, said on Wednesday (September 03) that an argument regarding ragging of a boy in college led to the dispute and the firing. The police are investigating and have registered a case against three students belonging to one of the groups. Following a Supreme Court Order ragging was banned in 2009. Kanpur, Sep 3 (ANI): Ten people died and two critically injured when a speeding truck overturned near a construction site in the wee hours of Wednesday in Kanpur. The victims who were construction workers were sleeping on the road in a slum area in Kanpur city when the truck lost balance as the wheels got stuck in a manhole and overturned upon them. Superintendent of Kanpur Police, Prabhakran, investigating into the accident confirmed that the mishap claimed ten lives and assured further probe into the incident. New Delhi, Sept 03 (ANI): Women activists on Wednesday condemned the killing of a teenage girl in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. A day after she openly challenged the verdict of a village kangaroo court chaired by a local Trinamool Congress leader, the naked body of a teenage girl was found near the railway tracks in Jalpaiguri. Her father has accused local TMC leaders and supporters of raping and murdering her. The girl, went missing immediately after the meeting ended late on Monday night.
