New Delhi, Aug 26 (ANI): Indian Boxer and World Boxing Champion Manoj Kumar has filed a petition in the High Court regarding the selection of sportspersons for giving Arjuna Award. Kumar has alleged that he is a world champion and has achieved more points than the person selected for Arjuna Award. Lawyer Rahul Mehra said that the petition has challenged the basis on which sportspersons are recognized for awards and also the committee which selects them. The next hearing will be on August28. Sushma Swaraj chairs regional Indian Heads of Mission meeting in Hanoi

Hanoi, Aug 26 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today chaired a meeting of Indian Heads of Mission in Vietnamese capital Hanoi. She is on a three-day visit to Vietnam and had earlier met the President and Prime Minister of Vietnam. The External Affairs Minister said India is working on its "Act East" policy, and added that she has discussed the way forward on bilateral ties with the Vietnamese leadership, especially in the fields of education, textiles, agriculture and natural resources. Indian heads of mission in East Asian countries were also instructed on New Delhi's approach to promoting bilateral relations in the region.
