Mumbai, Oct 19 (ANI): Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Manikrao Thakre tendered his resignation on Sunday. The resignation came after senior Congress leaders conceded defeat in both Maharashtra and Haryana. Thakre while addressing a press conference said that he had sent his resignation to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Meanwhile, Thakre congratulated his son Nitesh who won from Kankavli on Congress ticket.
