Delhi-Lahore Bus Service restricted to Wagah Border after warnings of terror attack; politicos react

New Delhi/ Gandhinagar, Jan 7 (ANI): Reactions poured in as Pakistan restricted the entry of buses run under the Pakistan-India Dosti service from Lahore and Nankana Sahib to Delhi till Wagah border citing terror threats. The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) has said the bus service will now on be operated only up to Wagah Border. New Delhi/ Mumbai, Jan 07 (ANI): Reactions poured in on Wednesday after Pakistan's Supreme Court denied bail to 26/11 mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi. Defence expert Praful Bakshi said that Pakistan's judiciary seems to have its own voice. Defence expert Uday Bhaskar said that the decision should be cautiously welcomed. New Delhi, Jan 07 (ANI): Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said that the fishing boat found off the western coast laden with explosives was a 'terror boat' intercepted by India. India said its forces had killed four Pakistanis planning an attack on Indian soil, although Indian media and opposition parties disputed the official account. Indian intelligence said the crew was planning "an illicit transaction" when the vessel was intercepted on New Year's Eve in the Arabian Sea, 365 km (225 miles) off India's western coast, according to a government statement. Pakistan's Supreme Court denies bail to 26/11 Mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi

Islamabad, Jan 07 (ANI): The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday setting aside Islamabad High Court's (IHC) decision, denied suspension of the detention of Lashkar-e-Taiba commander, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, accused of plotting the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. According to the media reports, Pak SC declared IHC's order of releasing Lakhvi from jail as void and opined that the decision to grant bail to Lakhvi was taken in a hurry. The reports further stated that, Pak SC directed IHC to hear arguments of Lakhvi's lawyer and the Central Government of Pakistan. Earlier, the Islamabad High Court had ordered conditional release of Lakhvi and had asked him to deposit a security bond of Rs 1 million in response to his petition seeking an end to his detention.
