New Delhi, Oct 20 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met the Foreign Affairs Minister of Nepal Mr Mahendra Bahadur Pandey to hold bilateral talks. Pandey had also met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj earlier in the day. Speaking on the issue of Pakistan supporters protesting against India in London, MEA Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said that the issue was raised with the colleagues in UK who assured that such matters should be solved by Pakistan and India itself. Bhopal, Oct 20 (ANI): More than five thousand kinds of earthen lamps at display at a grand fair in Madhya Pradesh attracted many visitors ahead of Hindu festival of lights, Diwali. Earthen lamps are synonymous to Diwali as they adorn every corner of the home or even streets during the festival and add fervour to the festive spirit. The hand-made colourful lamps in various shapes and sizes were available at the fair that has been organised by state government’s handloom and handicrafts department. Artisans from 24 districts of the country are displaying their work at the fair in Bhopal city. Ahmedabad, Oct 20 (ANI): A 60-year-old man in Gujarat has taken the initiative to help disabled people find love and choose their life partners to embark on a new journey. Natubhai Patel is playing matchmaker to the differently abled people as they are alienated from the society and a lot of times are not able to voice their opinion. Disabled people from across India came to the event organised for them to find a match for life in Ahmedabad. The participants were required to fill registration forms at the beginning of the event and were later called on stage one by one for introduction. Rajouri, Oct 20 (ANI): Flood victims in Jammu and Kashmir urged the Central government to start rehabilitation work in the devastated valley on a war footing. Residents had pinned hopes on Modi government for help in bringing the flood ravaged state of Jammu and Kashmir back on track. A legislator of Rajouri region, Choudhary Zulakar Ali, appealed to the Central government to look into the matter seriously.
