Former Pak Foreign Minister says both countries were close to resolve Kashmir issue

New Delhi, Nov 22 (ANI): Former Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri has said that New Delhi and Islamabad were very close to framework an agreement on the Kashmir issue during previous Congress-led regime in 2008. Kasuri is in Delhi to participate in Track-II dialogue that also involves Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar. Kasuri said that 80-90 percent of the issue was resolved through back channel during Manmohan Singh government. Kasuri added that Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz is in favour of peace process between the two nuclear armed neighbours. Nov 22, 2014

Mufti said that valley needs a government that can improve the overall condition of the state with water, power supply, employment, good roads and hospitals, which her party promised to deliver.
