Mary Kom participates in 'Swacch Bharat Abhiyan'

Imphal, Oct 24 (ANI): Champion pugilist M.C. Mary Kom on Friday wielded a broom and participated in the 'Swacch Bharat Abhiyan' launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 2. She appreciated the cleanliness drive. The 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' was launched nationwide to focus on sanitation, hygiene and waste management. It encourages people to sweep, remove garbage, debris and unauthorized encroachments from roads, markets and residential places. Kochi Airport on high alert after bomb threat

Kochi, Oct 24 (ANI): Kerala's Kochi Airport has been put on high alert on the orders of the Airports Authority of India following receipt of a bomb threat. Earlier Friday morning, the police received a call stating that a bomb is being carried by a passenger in an Air India flight arriving from Ahmedabad. Not in race for Maharashtra CM's post: Gadkari

Nagpur, Oct 24 (ANI): Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that he is not in the race for the post of chief minister of Maharashtra, and added till now whatever was being reported in and by the media, is a reflection of what the state's MLAs want, and they had all rights to do so.
