New Delhi, Aug 11 (ANI): Political leaders across India welcomed Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's remark to better the relationship between the two neighbouring countries. Reportedly, Sharif, while addressing a conference in Islamabad, expressed his regret and dissatisfaction regarding the relationship of his country with its neighbours, especially India. Congress leader Rajeev Shukla welcomed Sharif's remark and said it was a positive development for the two countries. BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said it was high time leaders of the two nations joined hands for a friendly relationship. Meanwhile, Defense Expert Praful Bakshi said he was surprised by this statement as it was not easy for a leader to make such remarks amid army personnel in Pakistan and said it was a good sign.
