New Delhi/Chandigarh/Nagpur / Varanasi, July 01 (ANI): Politicians on Tuesday slammed the BJP-led government for price rise, which is adding to inflationary pressures that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government inherited when it came to power in May. After petrol and diesel, price of non-subsidised cooking gas (LPG) was today hiked by Rs 16.50 per cylinder and that of jet fuel by over half-a-per cent after international oil prices surged due to the ongoing Iraq crisis. However, BJP leader and Environment Minister, Prakash Javadekar, assured that the government is working hard to control inflation.
