This week Ed Miliband, David Cameron, Nigel Farage and Nick Clegg have got together for a sing song. Theyve formed a boyband. Well, not quite.

Comedians with the likeness of the male and pale leaders played the politicians in a spoof election video for the Green Party.

The film mocks the Liberal Democrats, Labour, Ukip and the Tories and paints the Greens as the only real alternative at the general election.

The party will hope to hit a high note with the hilarious video as they are only on 5% in the latest opinion poll from YouGov and had to cancel a billboard launch this weeks because of ongoing issues with a contractor.

Elsewhere, Nigel Farage had a visit from reality star Joey Essex. The Only Way is Essex celebrity quizzed the Ukip leader as part of his ITV 2 documentary, Educating Joey Essex.

The 24-year-old even gave the Eurosceptic firebrand high praise, calling him really, really reem. The odd couple then enjoyed a boat ride from Grimsby Docks.

Bearing in mind Ukip only have one safe seat at the election – Douglas Carswells Clacton-on-Sea – Farage will probably soon be back on the campaign trail in South Thanet, where he hopes to win on 7 May.

Finally, IBTimes UK caught up with senior Liberal Democrats Norman Lamb this week. The care minister was positive that Nick Clegg would win his hotly contested Sheffield Hallam seat at the election.

But Lamb said he has an open mind to the prospective of becoming the next partys leader if a position arises.

The 57-year-old also discussed the Liberal Democrats proposal to revolutionise mental health care in England with £3.5bn ($5.1bn) worth of funding over the next parliament.
