Copenhagen, Feb 15 (ANI): Police cordoned off the streets near a synagogue in central Copenhagen on Sunday after an attack that left one person dead and two police wounded. One person was shot in the head and two police were wounded in the attack, Danish police said on Sunday, adding that it was too early to say whether the incident was connected to an earlier one at an arts cafe. Danish television station said a large metro and train station nearby, Norreport, was being evacuated and people in the area were told to stay indoors. A large area around the synagogue was cordoned off and police was seen searching a nearby park. Earlier, a civilian was also killed after shots were fired in a Copenhagen cafe at which controversial Swedish artist Lars Vilks attended a debate on art and blasphemy, the police said. Still photographs taken by Scanpix news agency in the immediate aftermath showed a glass door and window peppered with bullet holes.
