Srinagar, Aug 19 (ANI): Police baton charged employees of Public Health Engineering (PHE) department on Tuesday (August 19) as they took to streets in Jammu and Kashmir against apathy of the State government towards their long-pending demands. The PHE employees came out in droves in Srinagar city and shouted anti-government slogans. The employees were detained as they marched towards Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's office. President of Public Health Engineering (PHE) Association, Sajjad Ahmad, threatened to intensify their protest if the government failed to pay heed to their demands.
