Latehar, Aug 11 (ANI): Police arrested a Maoist in Latehar district in the red corridor of Jharkhand. The Maoist, Mukesh Kumar Yadav, is the area commander of a rebel outfit, People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) and was arrested after police received secret information. Briefing media persons, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Rosan Gudiya said that it is big achievement for police as Yadav was booked under multiple cases of dacoity, killings and kidnappings. Police also seized a home made country pistol and two revolvers from Yadav. Maoists, also known as Naxals, have killed police and politicians, and targeted government buildings and railway tracks in an insurgency that has killed thousands since 1960s.
