New Delhi, Dec 09 (ANI): Swifting actions on the Delhi rape case, Delhi police and Transport department fastened the proceedings in the matter. Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi met Home Minister Rajnath Singh on the issue and said that police is functioning for safety of women and that the cab company in question is already banned by the government. He also said that only authorized taxi service should be allowed to ply on Delhi roads and verification should be got done by the police. Meanwhile, Special Commissioner in Transport Department Kuldeep Singh Ganger said that it was found that the cab was not registered as local cab and was functioning illegally. He said that the department has also issued an advisory to public to refrain from using unregistered cabs.
