Pokemon Shuffle, the freemium puzzle video game released initially for Nintendo 3DS and later for mobile platforms, has received a new update for its mobile version and some new events.

The new update version 1.3.0 has gone live for mobile version of Pokemon Shuffle and players will see the addition of new features that will help them play easily.

The version 1.3.0 will make recommendation to players on the Pokemon that they must catch, using Special Icon. 

Players will also find level recommendations for Pokemons before tackling tougher stages. This update will also bring a better UI.

New events have also been announced for the game. It receives events at regular intervals, and these let players fetch some rare Pokemons they normally do not find in the game.

Here are the events from Serebii:

Landorus stage: This new stage can be played once a day and players will move closer to capturing the Pokemons being offered with each passing day. This challenge was released for both 3DS and mobile versions of the game.

Dialga stage: This event has returned for Pokemon Shuffle and will be available on both 3DS and mobile versions of the game. It will be available until 15 December, 2015.

Palkia stages: This event has returned for Pokemon Shuffle and will be available on both 3DS and mobile versions of the game. It will be available until 22 December, 2015.

Pokemon Safari: This is another event that has returned to the 3DS version of the game. It will consist of Gible, Gabite, Garchomp, Staryu, Starmie, Furfrou and Phione. This is the first time it is being available on mobile version of the game. It will be available only till 22 December, 2015.

Mega Steelix Event: Players who played the Mega Steelix event and securing a ranking will be receiving Steelixite. Players with higher ranks will get The Disruption Delay, Attack Power and Mega Speedup. Those who did not qualify will be getting a Jewel.

Pokemon Championship Series details

The annual event, Pokemon Championship Series, will be held from 19 August to 21 August, 2016, in San Francisco Marriott Marquis Hotel, San Francsisco.
