New Delhi, Jan 13 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has greeted people on the occasion of Lohri. In his message, the Prime Minister said, "Lohri greetings to everyone! May this festival brighten your lives with abundant happiness, prosperity and good health." The bonfire festival of Lohri is being observed and celebrated across Northern India today. The people of Punjab and Haryana primarily celebrate Lohri to signal the end of the Winter Solstice. This year, in Punjab and Haryana, the state governments and NGOs are going with the theme of saving the girl child.
