New Delhi, Feb 16 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a press conference on Monday with Sri Lanka President Maithripala Sirisena congratulated the later for his win and the election mandate given by the people. Modi said that the mandate represents collective voice of Sri Lanka and their aspirations for united and prosperous nation. He said that the two had discussions on bilateral relations and international issues. PM Modi also asserted that India will support for a balanced trade in both directions. He also assured to improve air and sea connectivity between the two nations. The two leaders also had discussions on civil nuclear cooperation among others. Finally, the prime minister thanked Sirisena for invited him to Sri Lanka and said that he was eagerly looking forward to visiting the'beautiful nation' in March.
