New Delhi, Jan 07 (ANI): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Japan’s Defence Minister Itsunori Onodera met in New Delhi to hold defence talks during the latter’s 4 -day visit to India. The talk was a follow up to India-Japan’s defence ministerial meeting held in November 2011. The two ministers talked extensively and exchanged ideas regarding regional and global security challenges as well as bilateral defence cooperation and exchanges between the two countries. They shared views on the necessity to conduct high- level and working-level regular consultations and exchanges, education/academic research exchanges and making other efforts in order to further strengthen mutual trust and understanding.
