Director Abhishek Saxena's Bollywood movie Phullu, starring Sharib Hashmi, Jyotii Sethi and Nutan Surya, has received positive reviews from the audience.

Story: Phullu (Sharib Hashmi) is a good-for-nothing young man, who lives with his mother and sister in a village. His mother (Nutan Surya) wants him to do some work, but he travels to the city to get things for the women. During one such visit, he learns that the women in his village are ignorant about sanitary napkins. How he fights his family, village and society to make menstruation more hygienic and comfortable for women around him forms the crux of the story.

Viewers say that Phullu is a social drama that throws light on the importance of sanitary napkins. The movie is insightful and thought-provoking. At the same time, the film is entertaining and some comedy and emotional scenes keep you engaged throughout the movie.

Sharib Hashmi, Jyotii Sethi and Nutan Surya have delivered brilliant performances, which are the highlights of Phullu. Pusha Chaudhary, Anmol Kapoor, Kshitij Chaudhary, Raman Kapoor, who have bankrolled the film, have made sure that it has good production values and picturisation. The background score is another attraction, according to viewers.

Mensuration, such a heavy word and such a beautiful thing. Its a part of women's life.its not a disease and nothing impure about it, nothing to hide. there is nothing wrong to talk about it.nothing adult or vulgar in it. My dad and my younger brother who is a school kid buys me pads.guys don't have to wait till they get married to understand what mensuration is.teach your kid about mensuration, talk to them. How will your kids respect women if they don't understand women.
