The West Indies defeated defending champions India by five wickets in the final of the ICC Under-19 cricket World Cup to lift the coveted title at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium here on Sunday. Batting first, India were bundled out for 145 in the allotted 50 overs. In reply, West Indies chased down the Indian total in 49.3 overs, scoring 146/5.
