Emilia Clarke aka Daenerys Targaryen or the Mother Of Dragons of HBO's most watched show Game Of Thrones has joined the cast list of upcoming standalone movie from Star Wars franchise. The untitled film revolves around the early life of Han Solo and it is expected to hit the big screens worldwide on May 25, 2018.

As a new member joins the galaxy with Chewbacca aka Chewie and smuggler Lando Calrissian, the followers of the science fiction are eager to know her role in the movie. But there are no details available about her role in the spin-off film. The official website described her character as a dynamic cast member whom Han and Chewie will encounter on their adventures.

The Emmy nominee was selected through an intense screening test by the directors and Executive Producers of Han Solo movie, Christopher Miller and Phil Lord. The Terminator Genisys actress had to compete with several popular female artists, including fellow cast member Jessica Henwick, to be chosen for the role.

The executive producers of the film conducted around three rounds of screening test to confirm the cast members. The participants of the gruelling test included Power Rangers actress Naomi Scott, Emerald City star Adria Arjona and Creed fame Tessa Thompson.

The Han Solo spin-off movie focuses on the series of events prior to the things which take place in Star Wars: A New Hope. The other confirmed cast members of it are Alden Ehrenreich as the lead cast and Donald Glover as his fellow smuggler Lando Calrissian.
