Fans of Star Plus' "Phir Bhi Na Maane ... Badtameez Dil", who were disappointed with the news of the show going off air, can now heave a sigh of relief.

The show's makers have decided to retain the show, but it will not be aired on the same channel. The show can now be found on digital platform Hotstar.

"Badtameez Dil is the #1 show on Hotstar and with it getting more response digitally than on GEC, the channel and producer decided to opt for this unique method. It is a new trend and for the first time a daily will air on a digital platform," a source told Telly Chakkar.

The last episode of Abeer (Pearl V Puri) and Meher's (Asmita Sood) "Phir Bhi Na Maane ... Badtameez Dil" will be telecast on 26 September on Star Plus, and is likely to hit Hotstar from October second week.

However, the makers have not yet decided whether the show should continue from the point where it wraps up or start afresh on Hotstar.

"There would be some definite changes but the essence and flavour of the show will be continued. Also the main characters would be intact but be prepared for some changes in some faces also," added the source.

Recently, there were reports that lead actor Pearl got emotional when he got the news of the show going off air. It was said that "Phir Bhi Na Maane ... Badtameez Dil" has been experiencing drastic fall in TRP ratings, forcing the makers to pull the plug.

"Phir Bhi Na Maane ... Badtameez Dil" will be replaced by Balaji Telefilms' new show "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan" that has Vibhav Roy and Shritama Mukherjee in the lead roles.
