Sharrath Marar, who is producing Pawan Kalyan's forthcoming Telugu movie, has made a special announcement a day before the Power Star's birthday. Well, he has revealed the name of the movie on his Twitter account.

Sharrath tweeted, "On the eve of #PSPK @PawanKalyan's birthday Northstar Entertainment proudly announces the title of d film under production as 'Katamarayudu.' [sic]" The title is inspired by a song from the actor's hit movie "Attarintiki Daaredi." Also, the digital poster of the film has been revealed. 

The upcoming movie is said to be a love story of a faction leader, who is heartbroken after his girlfriend ditches him. Akula Shiva has written the story. The first schedule of the Telugu movie's shoot was wrapped up recently.

The second schedule will commence shortly and the makers have plans to complete the shooting by the end of this year. The movie will be release in March or April 2017.

"Katamarayudu" is said to be the Telugu remake of Tamil hit movie "Veeram," which starred Ajith Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles. It was directed by Siruthai Siva.

Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead in "Katamarayudu." She had earlier worked with him in hit movie "Gabbar Singh," which was the remake of Bollywood blockbuster "Dabangg."

Sharat Marrar is producing the movie under North Star Entertainments banner and it is directed by Dolly. Anup Rubens has composed the music.

Pawan Kalyan is returning after his previous movie "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" bombed at the box office. He is now hoping to deliver a hit with his latest flick.
