Producer-cum-actor Kalyan Ram's much-anticipated "Pataas" (Patas) released in theatres across the globe on 23 January. It has reportedly garnered positive response from the audience.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, "Pataas" is an action flick with other commercial ingredients. The film is about how a criminal-minded police turns into a loyal cop. Though the storyline seems old, the director has dealt with it in a new way. In the second half, some parts are extremely entertaining.
Kalyan Ram is playing the hero in "Pataas", while Shruti appears as his love interest. His characterization is quite entertaining and the scenes between him and the villain are among the major highlights of the film. Saikumar and MS Narayana's performances are also important features of the film. Sai Karthik's music and cinematography are what fans may be looking forward to.
