Parvathy Ratheesh to Make Her Debut Opposite Kunchacko Boban

Yet another star kid is now set to make her debut in Malayalam industry. Pravathy Ratheesh, daughter of late actor Ratheesh will make her debut opposite Kunchacko Boban. The upcoming movie also has Biju Menon in the lead role.

The film is said to be a love story where Parvathy will be seen romancing Kunchacko. The actress will be seen playing a Sri Lankan woman, who knows only Tamil, while both Kunchacko and Biju play taxi drivers in Dubai. In the comedy entertainer, Biju essays the role of a Muslim from Malappuram.

Earlier, it was reported that Keerthy Suresh will play the lead opposite Kunchacko but the actress backed out because of her busy schedule with her other films.

The untitled movie is directed by Sugeeth. He made his directorial debut with 2012 film "Ordinary" which starred Kunchacko and Biju Menon in the lead. Though the critics gave an average review, it got a huge positive response from the audience and went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year.

Following the success of "Ordinary", the director made another Kunchacko-Biju movie "3 Dots". However, the gamble did not pay off as the movie received below-average reception from both critics and movie-goers.

Apparently, the "Ordinary" team wanted to join hands after the success of their first movie. Reportedly, they had planned 'Ithu Thanda Police' but somehow did not shape up well. Now, the latest project is expected to strike well with the audience, which will be an entertaining love story shot entirely in Dubai and Sri Lanka.

The upcoming Sugeeth film is scripted by Nisha Koya who had earlier written "Ordinary" and "Polytechnic" and the shooting of the movie is expected to kick-start in Dubai.The movie also has Suraj Venjaramoodu, Neeraj Madhav, Niyas Backer and Sadiq in important roles.
