Actress Parineeti Chopra, though, is yet to strongly establish herself in the industry, reportedly rejected a Karan Johar film. However, her reason to reject it is also just.
It has been reported that Karan offered a movie to Parineeti, which will be directed by none other than him. Although Parineeti will be more than happy to feature in a KJo film, this offer was in regard to a short film and not a full-length Bollywood movie.
"It's true that Karan offered Parineeti a film. But it was the lead in a short film that Karan is directing for producer Ashi Dua for Bombay Talkies 2," The Asian Age quoted a source as saying.
The only reason Parineeti did not accept the offer apparently is for it being a short film and not a full-length movie.
"Parineeti doesn't even want to talk about this. She is dead set on working with Karan but in a full-length feature film," another source told the publication. After Parineeti turned down the offer, Kiara Advani has been roped in for the same, the report added.
After a streak of flops, Parineeti finally had tasted success with Golmaal Again. And now she will next be seen in Yash Raj Films' Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. Her first look was released some time ago.
Parineeti was seen sporting an ultra-glam corporate look for the film. The film also features Arjun Kapoor playing the character of a cop. Being directed by Dibakar Banerjee, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is slated to release on August 3, 2018.
