Gumla/ Visakhapatnam, Feb 26 (ANI): In a joint operation paramilitary forces and police killed a Maoist in "red rebel hotbed" of Gumla district in Jharkhand. Acting on a tip-off by sources, police launched a joint operation with Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and killed one Maoist in a fierce gunbattle. The area lies on the red corridor that is worst affected by Maoist violence. Meanwhile, in an another incident in port city of Vishakhapatnam, Maoists attacked a village and killed a headman of the area.
