Bhopal, Feb 09 (ANI): Panic grips Bhopal city as 11 people have died due to the deadly swine flu. Twenty fresh cases of swine flu have come to notice, taking the total number of cases diagnosed in the city so far to 65. In the last two days, swine flu has claimed three deaths in Bhopal. Doctors at JP Hospital in Bhopal said on Monday that they had adequate facilities in place for swine flu. Patients have been thronging hospitals for check ups as soon as they notice any flu symptoms fearing it to be swine flu. Swine flu is transmitted to people primarily from ticks and livestock animals with an incubation period of up to nine days. Human-to-human transmission takes up to two weeks. With the number of swine flu cases rising in India, doctors have advised people to avoid crowded places.
