Panasonic has launched a new budget smartphone dubbed as Eluga Turbo in India.
"India's technology market in 2016 will be focusing on 'Make in India' and 4G enabled devices as an innovation-driven economy has led to the expansion of software and services. With the rollout of 4G/LTE telecommunications technology, we have developed new 4G/LTE compatible models across our product range. The objective of Eluga Turbo is to provide consumers with a premium design and performance," said Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India.
Key aspect of the Panasonic Eluga Turbo is its RAM capacity. It is one of the very few sub-Rs.11,000 handsets in India that boasts a 3GB RAM.
[Note: RAM is a very important component in a smart device. It optimises resource utilisation among applications and ensures the phone performs lag-free during multi-tasking or playing power-intensive game. More the RAM capacity, more efficiently the device works.]
Other notable features include 5.0-inch HD display, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, 32GB (+32GB via microSD card), 2350 mAh battery, 13MP camera on the rear-side and 5MP snapper on the front side.
Panasonic Eluga Turbo release and price details:
The Panasonic Eluga Turbo will be exclusively available via flash sale on Snapdeal for Rs. 10,999 later this week. The company has advised prospective buyers to get registered to become eligible to purchase the device on 27 January.
