Alleged Pakistani hackers attacked the website of National Green Tribunal on Monday. Apart from filling the page with profanities and Pakistan's national anthem as the background sound, the hackers claimed it as an act of "revenge" for Indian Army's surgical strikes across the Line of Control.

The hackers also called themselves "unbeatable" and alleged that India "kills innocent people in Kashmir." "Now kiss the burn of Cyber War," the hackers reportedly wrote on the website.

The attack occurred at around 7.15pm on Monday. The website was stamped with "D4RK 4NG31," probably a cyber hacker group.

This is not the first time that the website has seen a hacker attack. NGT's website was also hacked in 2013. It is not yet known if any information was taken from the website.

Reports noted that only the home-page was hacked, while other pages of the website were working smoothly. But as a precautionary measure, authorities took down the whole website.

Such cyber attacks have been a regular feature when tensions between the India and Pakistan flare up.
