A suicide bomber attacked a government office in Pakistan's Khyber Agency on Tuesday, killing at least six people and injuring several others. 

The bomber detonated himself outside a local government office of political agent Shahab Ali Shah in Jamrud area, Dawn reported. 

At least three local policemen were among the dead while the rest were civilians, as per reports. 

"At least six people were killed and 31 others were wounded after a suicide bomber detonated himself at the entrance of office," a Khyber tribal administration official told AFP.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing. 

Khyber Agency, a semi-autonomous regions governed by tribal laws, is a Taliban stronghold close to Pakistan's border with Afghanistan.
