Pakistan hanged four militants who were behind the attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar last December, in which over a hundred schoolchildren were killed.

The four terrorists were hanged at the Kohat Central Jail on Wednesday.

The militants had attacked the Peshawar school on 16 December last year, killing 151 people, including 125 children.

Maulvi Abdus Salam, Hazrat Ali, Mujeebur Rehman and Yahya were hanged for their roles in abetting the Peshawar school attack.

Two of them were also involved in the attack on the Pakistan Air Force Base in Peshawar.
